  • Must have experience in a fast paced environment.

    Happily assist any of your colleagues where at all possible

    Have the ability to work fast and calmly in a fast paced environment.

    Ensure your workstation is clean and tidy at all times

    Ensure full daily setup is completed before service followed up by total unpacking at end of service and correct stock and equipment are in place.

  • A basic level of barista experience working with speciality coffee is required.

    You will ensure all customers are served coffee/tea to an exceptionally high standard, consistently, that always includes latte art on milky drinks.

    Must have an excellent understanding of The Bookshelf's food and drinks menu.

    Ensure your work station is clean and tidy at all times

    You will be responsible for ensuring your work station is fully stocked each day.

    Excellent customer service must be provided at all times.

  • Waiters are the front line of our business and therefore must present The Bookshelf and its interests in the best possible light at all times.

    You will be expected to provide warm and friendly customer service to all customers who enter the restaurant. It is your responsibility to provide the best possible dining experience to all of our guests.

    You will maintain your designated restaurant section and ensure it is clean and organised at all times in order to provide a smooth service.

    Excellent communication with your customers, colleagues and managers is paramount.

    Requirements:

    Excellent customer service is an absolute must.

    Have a clear and full understanding of The Bookshelf's food and drinks menu.

    Take correct and detailed orders from each table including food drinks and dessert

    Deliver all food and drinks to the tables.

    Ensure your tables are cleared, wiped and fully set before seating guests.

    Ensure waiter stations are fully stocked before, during and after service.

    Ensure water stations are clean, tidy and fully stocked at all times.

    Ensure the restaurant is clean and tidy at all times.

    Provide support for food runners and other waiters.

    Happily assist any of your colleagues where at all possible.

    Have the ability to work fast and calmly in a fast paced environment.

    Always exceed expectations with relation to customer service.

  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times.

    Always be willing to help the chefs when required.

    Ensure your workstation is clean and tidy at all times.

    Must be willing and able to follow guidelines for prep and wash up routines as outlined by the chefs.

    Have the ability to work fast and calmly in a fast paced environment.

    Must be capable of working in an organised and structured manner in order to complete all tasks as efficiently as possible.

    Must ensure your workstation is clean and tidy and ready for next service at the end of each day.
