In 2012, the original The Bookshelf first opened its doors in the converted old Cork Library, South Mall. This characterful venue is still beloved
by locals and still serves the best coffee in the area and a small brunch menu with the famous coconut porridge.
Packed with quirky local art, it's always welcoming whether you're grabbing a quick takeaway, enjoying a bite with friends or curling up by the window with a good coffee and a book.
